Before installation

Adult installation only. Park the vehicle safely before installing or adjusting the curtain.

Check the vehicle owner’s manual and choose a position that does not interfere with side-curtain airbags, seat belts, child-restraint components, door controls, window mechanisms or emergency exits.

Although the curtain is designed to fit most rear passenger-side car windows, the most suitable installation position may vary depending on the vehicle’s window size, shape, design and the driver’s seating position.

Installation

1. Clean and completely dry the inside of the rear passenger-side window.
2. Choose the required cord length and curtain position for your vehicle.
3. Secure the cord at the chosen length using the two cord locks.
4. Make sure the cord is reasonably taut, with no loose loops or hanging ends.
5. Position the cord high against the glass and completely out of the child’s reach.
6. Press both suction cups firmly against the glass, removing as much trapped air as possible.
7. Check that the suction cups, cord and cord locks are securely fitted.
8. While the vehicle is safely parked, slowly raise and lower the window to confirm that it moves freely and that no part of the curtain, cord or attachment system catches, pulls or interferes with the window mechanism.
9. Sit in the normal driving position and check the mirrors and rear blind-spot area. Adjust the curtain and leave enough glass uncovered for clear shoulder checks and safe driving visibility.

Do not use the curtain if it interferes with window operation, driving visibility or any vehicle safety feature.

How to use

Adjust the curtain only while the vehicle is safely parked.

Slide the curtain along the cord to provide shade where direct sunlight reaches the child. The driver must select the amount of coverage according to the vehicle, seating position, mirror placement and required blind-spot visibility.

Do not fully close the curtain if doing so restricts the driver’s view. Gather the curtain to one side whenever greater visibility is required.

Keep the cord, cord locks, suction cups and all loose or detached components completely out of the child’s reach. The cord must remain securely tensioned and must never form a loose loop. Do not use if the child can reach or pull the curtain or any attachment component while correctly restrained.

Use only on a rear passenger-side window behind the front seats. Never install on the windscreen, a front side window or the rear windscreen.

The driver is responsible for ensuring that the curtain does not obstruct mirrors, shoulder checks, blind-spot visibility, road visibility or any vehicle safety feature. Always check visibility before driving and adjust the curtain only while parked.

Check the vehicle owner’s manual before installation. Do not place any part of the curtain or attachment system in the deployment path of a side-curtain airbag.

Before every journey, check that both suction cups, the cord and both cord locks remain securely attached. Temperature changes, moisture, dust and vehicle movement may affect suction-cup performance.

If any component becomes loose or detached while travelling, stop the vehicle safely before removing or refitting it. Never attempt to install, remove or adjust the curtain while driving.

Discontinue use immediately if the fabric, cord, cord locks or suction cups become loose, worn, cracked or damaged.

The cotton fabric provides a physical layer of shade from direct sunlight. It has not been independently UPF tested, and no specific level of UV protection is claimed. Do not rely on this curtain as the sole form of sun or heat protection.

Never leave a child unattended in a vehicle.

Removal

Adult removal only. Lift the edge of each suction cup with your fingers and gently peel it away from the glass. Do not remove the curtain by pulling on the fabric or cord.

Store the curtain, cord locks and suction cups securely out of children’s reach when not in use.
