Before installation

Choose a suitable position and check that the lock and base align correctly before removing the adhesive backing.

Clean the installation surface thoroughly and allow it to dry completely. The surface must be free from dust, oil, grease, moisture and cleaning residue. Adhesive performance may vary depending on the surface material, texture, finish, age and condition.

Test the product on an inconspicuous area first. Adhesive products may leave residue or affect some painted, coated, laminated or delicate finishes.

Installation

1. Adult installation only.
2. Carefully align the lock and matching base before removing the adhesive backing.
3. Remove the backing without touching the adhesive surface.
4. Press both parts firmly into position.
5. Allow the adhesive to bond for at least 24 hours before operating, testing or relying on the lock.
6. Keep children away from the drawer or cabinet during the 24-hour bonding period.
7. After 24 hours, test the lock firmly to confirm that both adhesive bases are securely attached and the release mechanism operates correctly.

Do not use the lock if either part lifts, moves or feels loose after the bonding period.

How to use

Adult operation only. Secure the lock after every use, then gently pull the drawer or cabinet door to confirm that it has re-engaged correctly.

Check the lock and adhesive regularly. Adhesive strength can change over time due to moisture, heat, repeated pulling, surface condition or frequent use.
